With COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations on the rise in Pennsylvania and across the nation, Penn State is urging its community to continue to take health precautions and follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to keep themselves and others healthy.
Five student teams from Penn State’s Engineering Leadership Development program in the School of Engineering Design and Innovation earned recognition in the 17th annual University Design Competition for Addressing Airport Needs, sponsored by the Transportation Research Board’s Airport Cooperative Research Program.
Through the Age-Friendly Care, PA initiative, the Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing will again offer its “Living with Dementia” series to provide practical tools, realistic tips and community resources to assist caregivers. Registration is now open for the four-part series will take place in person on Tuesdays in Altoona and Wednesdays in Palmyra, beginning in late August, with an optional "Memory Café" for people living with dementia to enjoy activities in a safe, supervised environment.
